Our passionate team of student and alumni volunteers, all rooted in the Honours community, share a strong commitment to exploring the societal impact of new technologies and making this event truly memorable.

We want you to focus on the diplomacy! Throughout the conference weekend (June 7-8), our dedicated staff will be readily available to assist you. Enjoy full catering during conference hours (breakfast excluded). For convenience, an optional accommodation package is available, providing shared lodging and breakfast for both days.
Commitment to Quality & Sustainability:
We strive for realism and relevance in our simulation. Select committees will benefit from the real-world insights of experienced chairs currently serving in local government (municipal or provincial council), enhancing the practical dimension of the debates. Furthermore, mirroring actual United Nations practices, OckMUN adopts UN4MUN style Rules of Procedure. This approach emphasizes consensus-building, closely simulating how the real UN operates, distinct from the parliamentary debate styles common in many other MUNs. Reflecting our commitment to positive impact, we are also partnering with Green Hub Twente and SUSTAIN to achieve sustainability certification for OckMUN. We are dedicated to providing an enriching, authentic, well-supported, and responsible MUN experience.
